The company

Sal, Mel i Vida is a flamenco company composed by the dancer Aloma Escuder, the percussionist Víctor Rodríguez, the guitarist David Salinas and the singer Paco Rubio.

The company belongs to the new generations of flamenco groups that reflect the current state of the art. Eventhough it has its origins in the northern mediterranean regions, it gives all its power an vitality to the art that it represents. With respect to the great classics, such as the guitarists Melchor de Marchena o Sabicas, and with the conscious influences of popular modern artists like Camarón and Paco de Lucía, or the dancers Maria Juncal and Alfonso Losa, they innovate with new songs and dances and express their own style of flamenco.

Salmelvida started its artistic course at the FRINGE International Festival in Edimburgh, Scotland, through Rennes, France, and crescently continues its path bringing the mediterranean flamenco all over the world. Nowadays, in their second year of life, the company works intensively in the valencian stages and has great expectations to travel with the show De Romer.
